Every January, the CES tradeshow in Las Vegas ushers in the new year with a dazzling display of innovative technologies, shiny consumer products, and presentations and discussions featuring the biggest names in the industry. Attendees come from all over the world to get a first-hand glimpse at what’s next in the ever-changing technology landscape, while basking in the bright lights of the legendary Vegas strip.
2026 was no exception. The show gave us humanoid robots dancing and doing household chores, a seemingly endless parade of AI-focused products, and an entire hall dedicated to the latest in automotive tech. For Xperi, CES 2026 was all about highlighting our ecosystem of products and services that allow anyone to experience a world of connected entertainment wherever they are, from the living room to the dashboard of their car.

Driving the future of in-car entertainment
On January 5, we announced that Mercedes-Benz was the latest automotive manufacturer to adopt the DTS AutoStage Video Service Powered by TiVo, which brings the best of streaming video content directly to the car. By adding the DTS AutoStage Video Service to their line-up, Mercedes became the first manufacturer to offer all of Xperi’s automotive experiences in one automobile, along with HD Radio, DTS AutoStage Audio and DTS:X immersive audio. Attendees were able to experience the magic of Xperi’s connected car technology at our booth in the South Hall, choosing among in-car demos from Mercedes, BMW, Genesis and even Harley Davidson.

DTS AutoStage now powers over 14 million vehicles, while over 70 percent of new vehicles are equipped with HD Radio. On the second day of the show, Jeff Jury, Xperi’s senior video president and general manager of immersive entertainment, laid out our vision for the future of the connected car at the C Space Studio stage at the Aria Resort, highlighting the rapid growth of immersive entertainment in vehicles.
TiVo media platform showcases new offerings and advertising opportunities
We also announced a number of new developments related to the TiVo media platform. TiVo OS, our operating system that powers connected televisions from over 100 TV brands, added exciting new content from Crunchyroll, Cineverse and iHeartRadio, along with expanded sports offerings from Free Live Sports including NASCAR, Tennis TV, Red Bull TV and dozens more.

Meanwhile TiVo Ads, which lets advertisers reach highly engaged, unique audiences across linear, streaming and smart TV environments, rolled out home page hero video trailers, which enable advertisers to create eye-catching experiences that boost engagement and conversion, along with shoppable QR codes and server-to-server integration. The TiVo One advertising platform now reaches over 5.3 million monthly active users, with over 10 daily home screen visits per user.

Xperi takes over the Vegas skyline
Even if CES attendees didn’t make it to the Xperi booth or meeting rooms, they almost surely caught one of our impressive digital billboard displays at Resorts World Las Vegas, situated directly across from the convention center. With a rotating display highlighting our solutions and brands lighting up the Vegas skyline, it’s safe to say Xperi made its mark at CES 2026.
