Xperi Turns Up the Volume at NAB Show

October 26, 2022 Xperi

After a pandemic-induced hiatus, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show New York returned to pre-pandemic form with a well-attended event at the Javits Center in New York City.

More than 10,000 attendees came to New York to learn the latest in the radio industry, the broadcast TV industry and the wider audio space.

An important pillar of the broadcast industry, Xperi’s DTS and HD Radio brands were well represented, with the team showcasing the implementation of HD Radio and our award-winning DTS AutoStage connected radio platform in the Mercedes Benz S-Class.

Sharing extraordinary insights with business executives

On a busy first day, Xperi’s Joe D’Angelo, senior vice president of global radio and digital audio, was joined by Westwood One’s chief insights officer, Pierre Bouvard, to unveil powerful new radio analytics. Broadcasters who join DTS AutoStage can now gain access to unique and valuable insights on how their audience is connecting with radio in cars at no additional cost. Broadcasters in the audience, as well as the media present, found these unique benefits of the DTS AutoStage platform extremely compelling.

In a parallel conference titled Podcast Futures, Xperi’s Allen Schrott, senior director of music products, introduced the audio-centric audience to the future of audio in the connected car—a topic that Xperi pioneers via its revolutionary approach to in-cabin entertainment.

Wrapping up the first day of the show, Xperi’s team joined a stellar group of broadcasters at the prestigious Marconi Radio Awards, an event that Xperi has been proudly sponsoring for years. Congratulations to this year’s nominees and winners!
