Xperi at IBC 2026: Conversations, Connections and the Future of Entertainment

9월 21, 2026 Xperi

Hot off the back of IFA in Berlin, the Xperi team headed to Amsterdam in the Netherlands for the annual IBC Conference and Exhibition. This year’s event gave Xperi the opportunity to bring together customers, partners, media and analysts from across the entertainment ecosystem, to showcase how our technologies are helping viewers discover and enjoy content in smarter, more intuitive ways across both television and radio.

From our meeting space in the Content Everywhere Zone, the team hosted a packed schedule of customer meetings, product demonstrations and industry discussions across TiVo OS, pay TV, content discovery and our broadcast radio solutions. The location served as a hub for conversations about the future of entertainment, bringing together broadcasters, operators, device manufacturers and content partners from across Europe and beyond.

A key highlight of the show was the official launch of Agent TiVo, our new conversational AI-powered entertainment discovery experience. Designed specifically for TV and streaming environments, Agent TiVo allows viewers to discover content naturally through voice or text, helping them spend less time searching and more time watching. The announcement generated strong interest throughout the event and sparked many conversations about the future of AI in entertainment.

Thought leadership also played a major role in our presence at the show. Briana Larsen joined Kauser Kanji, the host of the OTT Question Time Live podcast to discuss trends shaping content discovery and viewer engagement, while George Cernat gave an HD Radio market update at the Nautel stand and filmed a short video for DAB World in our own meeting space. Together, these speaking opportunities helped reinforce Xperi’s perspective on the evolving media and entertainment landscape.

At the DVB stand, Paweł Piotrowski presented our work on DVB-I with TiVo OS, showcasing how broadcast, streaming and FAST services can be unified into a single experience for viewers. The session highlighted the growing momentum behind open standards and TiVo OS’s expanding footprint across Europe.

Beyond the demonstrations and announcements, IBC was ultimately about strengthening relationships. Across four busy days, the team connected with customers, partners, analysts and journalists, sharing our vision for more personalised entertainment experiences while listening to the challenges facing the industry.

From Agent TiVo to DTS AutoStage and the thought leadership opportunities throughout the show, IBC 2026 demonstrated Xperi’s continued commitment to simplifying entertainment discovery and helping partners deliver exceptional viewing experiences.
