This September, the Xperi team returned to Amsterdam for the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2025, the world’s premier event for broadcasting, media and technology. At this year’s show, Xperi focused on how our brands — DTS, HD Radio, IMAX Enhanced and TiVo — are shaping extraordinary entertainment experiences for audiences worldwide.
Our booth featured a range of cutting-edge products and solutions, including:
- TiVo OS on Sharp, Panasonic and Metz smart TVs
- TiVo OS on the new Evolution Evo puck device
- DTS AutoStage Connected Radio and DTS AutoStage Video Service Powered by TiVo in a BMW X3
- TiVo Discovery’s new large language model demo
- DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal
- Panels metadata display
Throughout the event, our team engaged in numerous meetings — both pre-booked and spontaneous — connecting with industry leaders, partners and innovators.

Thought leadership & industry insights
Xperi’s expertise was also featured in two speaker sessions:
- George Cernat, senior director of business development for automotive connected media, presented the latest updates on HD Radio as part of a series of presentations at the Nautel booth.
- Stephane David, senior director and head of content partnerships and business development, joined a panel discussion about strategic imperatives for the industry, including differentiation, engaging Gen Z and combating piracy. The session included insights from DoveRunner, Backscreen and Dataxis.

Award recognition
We took home another award — this time a Best in Show recognition from RedTech for the DTS AutoStage smart discovery feature. This technology empowers connected radio users to easily discover content such as podcasts, lyrics and related programming while enjoying their favorite broadcasts.

IBC 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the global broadcast community, share our vision and celebrate industry recognition. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and participated in our sessions — we look forward to continuing to drive innovation in entertainment technology.
