At Xperi, we are committed to investing in strategic partnerships that advance diversity, equity and inclusion objectives within the industry and the organization — broadening the recruitment pool and building pipelines to bring in diverse talent.
As part of this effort, we are proud to announce new and continuing partnerships with the following organizations.
“Xperi’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is exemplified through these partnerships,” said Rebecca Bivona-Guttadauro, chair of Xperi’s DEI council. “Not only do we value opportunities to diversify our organization, but we also encourage Xperi’s employees to broaden their social networks, give back to their communities and pursue opportunities for professional development. Now more than ever, we want to recommit to our values of people, performance, customers and innovation, and these partnerships allow us to reach not only our own employees but future employees. We look forward to a great year of partnering with these outstanding organizations!”
Fairygodboss
Fairygodboss helps companies increase gender diversity. They are providing opportunities for Xperi to share our story about why our company is a great place for women and driving more female applicants to apply for our open positions. Fairygodboss offers women an opportunity to give and receive career advice, attend webinars, and be part of a supportive community.
“Our new partnership with Fairygodboss will provide a great resource for women at Xperi – especially for members of the Women in Tech (WiT) employee resource group to connect with women within the company and outside,” said Kat Stermer, chair of Women in Tech @ Xperi. “For Xperi, this new partnership provides an attractive way to connect with women in the industry, post jobs, and build a strong brand as an employer of choice for women in technology.”
Out In Tech
Out in Tech creates opportunities for LGBTQ+ to advance their careers, grow their networks and leverage tech for social change.
“Pride @ Xperi celebrates our new partnership with Out in Tech, the largest non-profit community of LGBTQ+ techies worldwide,” said Brian Stachowiak, chair of the Pride @ Xperi employee resource group. “Our partnership will aid in our recruitment efforts by attracting more diverse talent to Xperi and provide free training, certifications and mentoring to those interested in pursuing a career in tech. We are excited about this partnership to continue our work to bring equity and inclusion to the workplace.”
VetsinTech
VetsinTech supports current and returning veterans with reintegration services and by connecting them to the national technology ecosystem. VetsinTech commits to bringing together a tech-specific network, resources and programs for veterans interested in education, entrepreneurship and employment.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with VetsinTech, a collaboration aimed at bridging the gap between the invaluable skills of veterans and our workforce at Xperi,” said Dylan Wondra, chair of the Veterans @ Xperi employee resource group. “This initiative aligns with our commitment to recruit veteran talent, empower our hiring managers with a deeper understanding of veteran skill sets, and offer dedicated resume assistance and mentorship to veterans seeking opportunities within our industry. Our joint efforts signify a commitment to unlocking the immense potential of veteran talent, propelling them towards success and ensuring they play an integral role in shaping the future of entertainment.”
/dev/color
/dev/color is the global career accelerator for Black software engineers, technologists and executives. Xperi and /dev/color are aligned in the commitment to activate and cultivate relationships with Black technologists in order to increase representation, leadership, and impact within and beyond our companies and communities. Together, through intentional community building, joint activations and deep investment over time, we will increase access and opportunities, and ultimately, create a more inclusive industry and world.
“We are excited to partner with /dev/color in pushing forward the goal of creating more access and opportunities for Black technologists and leaders across the industry,” said Seamus Ruane, vice president of global talent at Xperi. “We believe diverse and inclusive teams help make products stronger and that our teams should be as diverse as the users we serve.”
Herkey
Over the past couple of years, Xperi has been a supporter of Herkey, India’s largest career engagement platform for women. Herkey seeks to be the dependable companion for every woman on her career journey, enabling her growth, opening up opportunities, creating meaningful engagement, and facilitating her career journey — onwards & upwards. Xperi has had the opportunity to sponsor the HerRising career fair, meet incredible talent, promote skill building and returnee talent.
“In 2024, we look forward to sponsoring the HerRising career fair for another year,” said Urvashi Verma, senior manager of talent acquisition. “We look forward to crafting a special session to connect candidates with the Xperi India leadership team to explore opportunities.”
