Describe your role in three sentences:
As an executive assistant, I primarily provide administrative support to Jea Yoo, President – Korea, and assist him in carrying out his initiatives effectively. I also work for our Xperi Korea team and other teams within the company and communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure the overall efficiency of our organization. In this way, I strive to be a good team player and a good communicator, whom everyone can comfortably turn to when the need arises.

How long have you worked at Xperi and what led you to our industry?
I have been at Xperi for seven years through DTS. Previously I worked at the law firm Kim & Chang in Seoul, Korea, assisting international lawyers. I always wanted to work in a more lively and flexible environment and I really liked the culture at DTS with a diverse workforce, transparency and good leadership!

Fun Facts

When you’re not at work, how do you spend your time?
I like going out for outdoor activities in my spare time, as I spend most of my time at work sitting at my desk. I enjoy running and riding bikes by the Han River at night—there are great views of the river, bridge and the city of Seoul at that time of the day. Recently I fell in love with tennis. I have been playing it in the early morning before coming to work—it makes me feel so vibrant and happy the whole day!

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself or something people would be surprised to learn about you:
I was born in Seoul, Korea but I spent my childhood in Hanoi, Vietnam and studied at French International School in Hanoi. My only interest at that time was to improve my language skills to make many friends from different cultures. I studied as many languages as I could, including English, French, Spanish and Vietnamese, which has become an incredible asset in my life!
