Describe your role:
I work on the DTS team and am responsible for the research and development of digital signal processing and machine learning algorithms in audio applications including speech enhancement, dynamic range compression and automatic gain control.
How long have you worked at Xperi and what led you to our industry?
I have been working for Xperi for just a few months. I’ve always been interested in audio and more recently in machine learning. I saw this position as an excellent opportunity to work in and improve on my main fields of interest.
When you’re not at work, how do you spend your time?
I like going out with my friends and hiking occasionally. However, I also enjoy time at home with my partner watching TV series, working on my personal projects or playing guitar.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself or something people would be surprised to learn about you:
I like cooking in general, but when it comes to pizza I’m really obsessed. I own two semi-professional ovens, a professional dough mixer and I have lost count of how many different types of flour I have for my dough experiments.
